Loreen Frances Gregg, 93, of Smith Creek, died Wednesday, June 4, 2014.

She was born April 16, 1921 in Smith Creek, to the late William and Fama Eagen. She married Norman Gregg on February 28, 1942 in Port Huron. He died September 20, 1978.

Mrs. Gregg had worked for George Innes Men’s Wear, Mary Maxim, Michigan Bell, Sperry’s, Marysville Plastics, and Morton Salt Company. She was a faithful member of St. Christopher's Catholic Church. Loreen enjoyed knitting, crocheting, and cross stitching.

She is survived by daughters, Bonnie Dudash of Kimball, Fama Jean (William) Wielbik of Arizona, and Irene (Dan) Herdegen of Colorado; thirteen grandchildren; twenty-seven great-grandchildren; nine great-great-grandchildren; two brothers, Richard Eagen of LosGatos, CA, and Donald (Mary) Eagen of Toma, WI; a sister, Ann (Richard) Quick of Escondido, CA; a sister-in-law Arlene Gregg of St. Clair Township; and several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by four brothers, Charles, Ned, Phillip Ray, and Dennis.

Visitation will be 2-8 p.m. Friday, June 6, 2014 in Marysville Funeral Home. A Rosary will be recited at 7 p.m.

Funeral Mass will be held at 10 a.m. on Saturday, June 7, 2014 in St. Christopher’s Catholic Church with visitation beginning 9 a.m. The Reverend Frederick A. Bodde will officiate.

Burial will take place in Mt. Hope Cemetery, Port Huron.
