Marjorie M Jamison

February 22nd, 1925 to July 9th, 2015

Marjorie May (Moore) Jamison, 90, of Port Huron, went to be with the Lord on Thursday, July 9, 2015.

She was born February 22, 1925 in Evart to the late John and Elsie (Wright) Moore. She graduated from Evart High School in 1942. On January 18, 1946, she married Clark G. Jamison in Detroit. He remained her husband and closest friend for 64 years until his death on February 24, 2010.

Mrs. Jamison was an active member of the Griswold Street Baptist Church for her entire adult life. She worked in the Port Huron Area School District as the manager of food services for 26 years and retired in 1985.

She is survived by one son, Gordon Jamison and his wife Karen; three grandchildren, Matthew (Kristen), Brian (Anna) and Scott (Jackie) Jamison; six great grandchildren, Andrew, Ashley, Tyler, Alexander, Kayla and Logan; two brothers, Charles (Marjorie) Moore and John (Sherry) Moore; a brother-in-law, Don (Elizabeth) Jamison; and many nieces, nephews and cousins. She was preceded in death by a brother, Olin Moore and his wife, Crystal.

Memorial visitation will be 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. Sunday in Pollock-Randall Funeral Home.

Memorial services will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Monday, July 13, 2015 in Griswold Street Baptist Church. Pastor James Pettit and Dr. Timothy North will officiate.
