Susan M McAnany

Susan M. McAnany, 63, of Kimball Township died Monday, April 25, 2016.

She was born November 13, 1952 in Port Huron to the late Donald and Frances McAnany.

Susan was employed with Chrysler Corporation for 17 years. She was a past State Commander for the Disabled American Veterans Auxiliary, member of the Kimball Citizens for Positive Action, assisted with scouts with disabilities and special needs, and worked closely with the March of Dimes.

She is survived by a special cousin, Robert Dease; cousins, Linda Gierman, Cheryl Phipps, Sandra (John) Rightenburg and Patricia (David) Howe; her very special and dear friend, Becky Howe; and her dog, Scooter.

Visitation will be held from 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. Wednesday in the Marysville Funeral Home. A Scripture Service will be held at 7 p.m.

Susan will lie in state from 10:30 a.m. until the time of the Funeral Mass at 11 a.m. Thursday, May 5, 2016 in Holy Trinity Parish St. Joseph Catholic Church. The Reverend Jeff Allen will officiate.

Burial will be in Mt. Hope Cemetery, Port Huron.

Memorials may be made to the Disabled American Veterans and the American Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals.
