Waldtraut I. Nugent, 90, of Port Huron Township, died Wednesday, September 20, 2017.
She was born June 4, 1927 in Königsberg, Germany to the late Ferdinand and Helena Muller. She married Bernard L. Nugent on September 15, 1956 in Gelnhausen, Germany. He preceded her in death on May 11, 2001.
Mrs. Nugent was employed with Ford Motor Company until her retirement in 1988. She loved to cook, camp and spend time with her family.
She is survived by her children, Ruben (Mary) Nugent, Bernard (Cathy) Nugent, Carmen (Vernon) Preston and Tammie Cahours; grandchildren, Jessica (Jason) Lee, Miguel (Lana) Hernandez, Toni Braley, Oscar Dean Jr., Charlene (Ron) Pickelhaupt-Cruz, Erik Pickelhaupt, Nicole Cahours and Susan Meddaugh; great grandchildren, Rebecca Hernandez, Daniel Braley and Tyler Jacob Dean; five great great grandchildren; and a very close family friend, Gary (Debra) Martin. She was preceded in death by her sister, Lotti Cox and step-grandson, Nicholas Lasky.
Visitation will be from 6-9 pm Sunday and 2-4 and 6-8 pm Monday in Pollock-Randall Funeral Home.
Funeral services will be held at 11:00 am Tuesday, September 26, 2017 in Pollock-Randall Funeral Home. The Reverend Antonio J. Velez Jr. will officiate. Burial will be in Fremont Township Cemetery.
