Dorothy M Cornwell

Dorothy M. Cornwell, 99, of Kimball Township, died at home on Tuesday, November 28, 2017.

She was born October 3, 1918 in Alberta, Canada, to the late Sidney and Fern Sayers. She married Charles “Wes” Cornwell on February 3, 1938 in Yale. They were married 64 years.

A natural caregiver, Dorothy worked at Marwood Manor for over 35 years. She enjoyed spending time with family and had a special love for animals.

She is survived by three children, Charles (Lori) Cornwell, Cheryl (Patrick) Hyde and Jeffrey (Mari) Cornwell; she also raised, Don (Cindy) Maynard, Larry Thompson, Harold & Gerald Lane; 10 grandchildren and 14 great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her loving huband and a grandson, Corry Cornwell.

Family and friends are invited to toast to her memory and share stories in celebration of her life on Monday, December 4th, 2017 from 5-7 p.m. at the Dorsey House.
