Winifred M Sommerville

Winifred Maxine Sommerville, 92, of Port Huron, died Sunday, January 21, 2018.

She was born January 12, 1926 in Sandusky to the late John and Olive Hyslop. She married James J. Sommerville on June 29, 1946 in Sandusky. He preceded her in death on April 22, 2006.

Mrs. Sommerville was a teacher and real estate agent for several years. She enjoyed playing cards and going to Bingo, but most of all she loved spending time with her family.

She is survived by her children, Karen (Sam) Catanzaro and Lon Sommerville; grandchildren, Kelly (Greg) Dunn, Jason (Dana) Wilson and Shaun Catanzaro; 11 great grandchildren; and 1 great great grandchild.

Committal services will be held at 11 a.m. on Thursday, February 8, 2018 in the Lakeside Cemetery Chapel. The Reverend Larry Rutz will officiate.
