Hugo F Warsinske

Hugo Ferdinand Warsinske, 89, a lifelong resident of Kimball Township, died Thursday, November 1, 2012.

He was born August 27, 1923 in Kimball Township to the late Albert and Minnie Warsinski. He married Agnes Fiedler on July 25, 1953 in St. Martin Lutheran Church, Port Huron.

Mr. Warsinske retired from Mueller Brass in 1989 after over 35 years of service. He served in the U.S. Army during World War II with the occupational forces in Japan. He was a lifetime member of Trinity Lutheran Church. He enjoyed bowling, golfing, baseball in his younger years, and most importantly, spending time with his family and especially his grandchildren.

He is survived by his wife of 59 years, Agnes; a daughter, Ruth (Rev. Paul) Kruse of Kimball; three grandchildren, Ted, Ben and Amanda Kruse; a sister, Helen Anderson of Port Huron; four sisters-in-law, Stephanie Warsinske, Florence Warsinske, Grace Warsinski and Beth Fiedler; and many cherished nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by five brothers, William Warsinski, Paul, Otto (Eleanor), George and Ernest Warsinske; four sisters, Louise (Earl) Jackson, Freida (Charles) Jackson, Erna (Russell) Osborne and Margaret Warsinske; five half brothers, Max (Bertha) Warsinski, Frank (Martha) Warsinski, Albert (Olga) Warsinski, Carl (Maude) Warsinski and Fred (Reba) Warsinski; two half sisters, Mary (John) Stark and Emily Warsinski; and two brothers-in-law, Stanford Anderson and Bernard Fiedler.

Visitation will be 6-8 p.m. Saturday and 2-4 & 6-8 p.m. Sunday in Pollock-Randall Funeral Home.

Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Monday, November 5, 2012 in Trinity Lutheran Church. Mr. Warsinske's son-in-law, the Reverend Paul Kruse of Light of Christ Lutheran Church of Marysville, and the Reverend Robert Mann will officiate. Military honors will be conducted under the auspices of the St. Clair County Allied Veterans Council.

Memorial contributions may be made to Trinity Lutheran Church, Light of Christ Lutheran Church or the Visiting Nurses Association.
