Billie E Vandenabeele

Billie Emile Vandenabeele, 73, of St. Clair, died Wednesday, May 1, 2013 after a long illness.

He was born July 26, 1939 in Detroit to the late Gracian "Johnnie" and Alice Vandenabeele. He married Joanne Allen in May 1984 in St. Clair.

Mr. Vandenabeele was a welder, press operator and die setter with William Kloeffler Industries for 15 years. He was an active member of First Baptist Church of Marysville, serving as head usher, groundskeeper and a member of the Trustee Board. He enjoyed woodworking and fishing.

He is survived by his wife, Joanne; three sons, David (Janet) Vandenabeele of Detroit, Christopher Vandenabeele of North Carolina and James (Genna) Vandenabeele of Port Huron; a daughter, Angela Kolarik of New Baltimore; five grandchildren, Jonathan, Stephen, Paul, Thomas and Hannah; and a sister, Margaret Sherman of Warren.

A memorial service will be held at 11 a.m. on Saturday, May 4, 2013 in First Baptist Church of Marysville with visitation beginning at 10 a.m. The Reverend Dallas Berry will officiate.

Memorial contributions may be made to the Marysville Baptist Church Building Fund or the Michigan Parkinson's Foundation. Arrangements are by the Marysville Funeral Home.
