We are thrilled to announce that Dr. Alan Wolfelt has accepted our invitation to return to Port Huron in 2026!

Dr. Alan Wolfelt has been recognized as one of North America’s leading death educators and grief counselors.  His books have sold more than a million copies worldwide and have been translated into many languages.  He is known around the world for his compassionate messages of hope and healing as well as his companioning philosophy of grief care. Dr. Wolfelt speaks on grief-related topics, offers trainings for caregivers, and has written many bestselling books and other resources on grief for both caregivers and grieving people.

Two Events

Evening Program for Everyone - He will speak to the public, including those personally dealing with grief and loss, on September 29th, 2026 at Port Huron's McMorran Place Theater from 6 to 8 p.m.  This event is free of charge, registration is not required.

One-Day Seminar for Professionals - He will present an all-day seminar for nurses, hospice personnel, clergy, counselors and all caregivers on September 30th, 2026 in The River Room at TheBANK in Port Huron from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. Continental Breakfast and Lunch will be served.
