Mark S Dubs
Mark Steven Dubs, Jr., 35, of North Street, died Wednesday, November 20, 2013 after a long battle with illness.
He was born July 21, 1978 in Port Huron to Linda and Mark Steven Dubs, Sr.
Mark was a graduate of Port Huron Northern High School. He served four tours of duty with the U.S. Army in Afghanistan, Iraq and Kuwait. He played lead guitar and sang in several bands, including Artificial Sun and Cheeze Wagn.
He is survived by his daughter, Krysta Dubs; his father, Mark Dubs, Sr.; his mother, Linda Fay Dubs; a brother, Michael (Nicole) Dubs; four nieces and nephews, Cierra, Kaylie, Angelica and Michael Jr.; his grandparents, Eugene & Wilma Gay and Lawrence Dubs; and many aunts, uncles, cousins and friends. He was preceded in death by his grandmother, Shirley Dubs; an uncle, Larry Dubs; an aunt, Lori Best; and his best friend, William “Bill” Borntrager.
Visitation will be 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. on Monday, November 25, 2013 with a memorial service following at 4 p.m. in Pollock-Randall Funeral Home. The Reverend Max Amstutz will officiate. Military honors will be conducted under the auspices of the U.S. Army.
Memorials may be made to the family in care of Michael Dubs.
