Irene M Moutoux

Irene Marie Moutoux, 75, of Port Huron died Saturday, February 22, 2014.

She was born August 22, 1938 in Port Huron to the late Jack and Sarah Jeffery. She married Ernest Moutoux on August 11, 1962 in Port Huron.

Family was the most important thing to Irene. She loved spending time with and taking care of her family, especially her grandchildren. She also enjoyed her monthly “sisters” potluck. She was an avid reader, enjoyed doing puzzles and playing games like Aggravation.

She is survived by her husband of 51 years, Ernest; children, Gary (Stephanie) Moutoux, Tommy (Cathey) Moutoux, Tammy (Ricky) Hutchinson, Ernest (Kimberly) Moutox II, Sarah (Mark) Spranger, Donald (Melody) Moutoux and David (Monica) Moutoux; many grandchildren and great grandchildren; five sisters; two brothers; and many nieces, nephews and cousins. She was preceded in death by six brothers and sisters.

Memorial services will be held at 4:30 p.m. on Wednesday, February 26, 2014 with visitation beginning at 1:30 p.m. at Moose Lodge #158, 3520 Military Street, Port Huron. The Reverend Max Amstutz will officiate.
