Janet C Pickering

Janet C. Pickering, 75, of Marysville went home to be with the Lord Saturday, August 23, 2014.

She was born October 18, 1938 in Alma, MI to the late Martin and Eleanor Sabatovich. She married Dennis W. Pickering on June 20, 1964 in Port Huron. He preceded her in death on May 18, 2011.

Mrs. Pickering was a long time parishioner of St. John’s United Church of Christ and member of Circle 7 at the church. She enjoyed crafts, gardening, boat watching and spending time with her family.

She is survived by her son, Michael (Barbara) Pickering; daughter-in-law, Francesca Raines; seven grandchildren; and nine great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her son, Randy Raines.

Visiting hours will be from 4-8 pm Tuesday in Pollock-Randall Funeral Home.

Funeral services will be 11:00 am Wednesday, August 27, 2014 in Pollock-Randall Funeral Home. Burial will follow in Woodland Cemetery, Port Huron Township.
