Charles Satchell

Charles W. “Chuck” Satchell, 68, of Marysville died Saturday, July 11, 2015 at home surrounded by his family.

He was born February 17, 1947 in Bayard, Nebraska to the late Chester and Betty Satchell.

Mr. Satchell retired from General Motors as director of facilities. He served in the U.S. Army. Chuck was very active in boating, sailing and was a member of the Port Huron Power Squadron. He was also a member of the Society of Automotive Engineers. He enjoyed skiing, Tai Chi and spending time with his family and friends.

He is survived by his wife, Sheri LaMarra; daughter, Kristy (Scott) Myers; son, Loren LaMarra; grandsons, Jacob and Alex Myers; brothers-in-law, Peter, Harry and David Bowman; several nieces and nephews; and two great nephews, Steven and Justin Osgood. He was preceded in death by his brother, James.

Funeral services will be 11:00 am Thursday, July 16, 2015 in Marysville Funeral Home with visitation from 9:00 am until the time of service. Reverend James Arwady of St. Christopher Catholic Church will officiate.

Memorials may be made to St. Christopher Catholic Church or Boys Town.
