Lois Goniwicha
Lois Elizabeth Goniwicha, 85, of Kimball Township, died Thursday, August 6, 2015.
She was born February 17, 1930 in Sanilac County to the late Allen and Helen (Darr) Puddock. She married Robert Goniwicha on June 25, 1949 in Port Huron. He died December 11, 2012.
Mrs. Goniwicha was employed with Prestolite Wire Company prior to her retirement. She loved the dogs they had over the years, and enjoyed camping, crocheting, making dolls, canning, spending winters in Florida, and Polka music.
She is survived by three sons, Don (Melody) Goniwicha, Stephen Goniwicha and Randy (Geri) Goniwicha; nine grandchildren, Tiffani (Jeff) Dysinger, Christina Goniwicha, Brian Goniwicha, Don Goniwicha Jr., Shannon Fox, Kevin Goniwicha, and Dave Jaquette; five great grandchildren, Chloe and Jake Dysinger, Alex Donaley, and Billy and Sammy Fox; her siblings, Mel Puddock, Howard Puddock, and Cora Brougham; and many nieces, nephews, and cousins. She was preceded in death by two sisters, Thelma Visga and Eva Keller.
Visitation will be 3-6 p.m. Sunday in Pollock-Randall Funeral Home.
Funeral services will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Monday, August 10, 2015 in Pollock-Randall Funeral Home. Pastor Bonnie Klos will officiate.
Burial will be in Riverlawn Cemetery, Marysville.
Memorials may be made to the Blue Water Area Humane Society.
The family wishes to thank the very special care givers that helped keep Lois at home for over 2.5 years, Rose Kammer, Pat Turrell, Gina Foster, Kelli Driggers, and Sharon Biscarner.
