Harold James “Jamie” Wisner, 46, of Marysville, died Friday, August 28, 2015 after a long battle with cancer.
He was born February 13, 1969 in Port Huron. He married Misty K. Sherman on August 8, 2008 in Las Vegas, Nevada.
Harold graduated in 1987 from Port Huron Northern High School. He was employed for many years as a Hi-Lo driver with Chrysler Corporation and was a member of United Auto Workers Local 375. He was an active member and church board member at Hillside Wesleyan Church.
He is survived by his wife, Misty; children, Syrina, Drake and Ellisyn; step-son, Dylan Pitts; mother, Marylis Wisner; father, Harold (Diana) Wisner; mother-in-law and father-in-law, Peggy and Tom Sherman; sister, Jennifer (Scott) Spencer; nephews, Nathan, Brandon, Kiptyn and Thomas; niece, Isabella; brothers-in-law, Joshua (Erica) Sherman and Andrew (Cari) Sherman; grandmother-in-law, Leola Rickett; and special aunt and godmother, Marilyn Wisner. He was preceded in death by a step-son, Austin Pitts; and his grandparents.
Visitation will be from 2-4 pm Sunday and 2-4 and 6-8 pm Monday in Marysville Funeral Home.
Funeral services will be held at 11:00 am Tuesday, September 1, 2015 in Hillside Wesleyan Church with visitation beginning at 10:30 am. Pastor Bill Kinnan Jr. and Pastor Dennis Cook will officiate.
Burial will follow in Washington Township Cemetery. Cory Shivers, Stephen MacPherson, Daniel Damman, Darrin Koester, Don Jensen and Robb Rock will serve as pallbearers.
