Joyce I. Baker Wright, 85, of Marysville, Michigan, died Thursday, September 10, 2015 in Ashley Manor, a facility that specializes in dementia and Alzheimer’s in Twin Falls, Idaho.
She was born April 20, 1930 in St. Clair, Michigan to the late William and Irene London.
Mrs. Wright retired from Masco Corporation in 1993. She was a graduate of Marysville High School and attended Cerritos College in California.
Joyce is survived by five children, Celeste Baker, Elsie (Don) Bingham, Lyle (Judy) Baker, Lori (Wayne) McVeigh and Cindy Haas; 14 grandchildren, Sandi (Pat) Bamrick, Gerald Whitney, Cary (Diane) Whitney, Sean Whitney, Amanda Baker, Gerald Baker, Clayton Baker, Christina Bachorski, Jody Cushman, Abbey O’Boyle, Rae Ann McVeigh, Jolene Brooks, Jeremy (Amber) Haas and Jenelle (Frank) Weaver; 13 great grandchildren; two sisters, Janet (Jerry) Paeth and Norma London; a brother, David (Linda) London; and many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her husband, Gerald Baker; a son, Duane Baker; four sisters and two brothers. She was married later in life to William Wright.
Burial will be with her first husband in Forest Lawn Memorial Park Cemetery in Cypress, California. Pallbearers will be Lyle Baker, Wayne McVeigh, Cole Walker and Cary Whitney.
A memorial service will be held at 3 p.m. on Saturday, September 26, 2015 in the Marysville Funeral Home with visitation beginning at 1 p.m.
