D'Wan L Lindsay
D’Wan Lamont Lindsay, 49, of Port Huron, left this Earth on Saturday, October 17, 2015.
He was born April 12, 1966 in Port Huron and was a lifelong area resident.
D’Wan was employed at Pau MacTubing LLC. He enjoyed watching sports and participated in many sporting activities during his lifetime.
He is survived by a daughter, LaQuita Edwards; two grandchildren, Simora Reddic and Terrance Dean; his parents, Audrey (Phillip) Morris; a godson, Dante’ Trice; his siblings, Phillip “Tiger” Morris Jr. (Heather), Mashawn (Gloria) Easton both of Port Huron, Mark Kitchell of Fair Haven, Tyson Lindsay of Sarnia, Ontario and Lance Lindsay of Leduc, Alberta, Danielle (Chris) Johnson of Atlanta, GA, Zina Morris of Nashville, TN, and Renie Harris of Detroit; a great-great uncle, Leon Thornton of Port Huron; a companion of many years, Shawn Ruffin; a godson, Dante’ Trice; many nieces and nephews and a host of other relatives and friends. He was preceded in death by his daughter, Shaylynn Burrell, his father, John R. Lindsay, grandparents, Edward (Theresa) Lindsay, Doris (Charles) Morris, Alma (Jethro) Harris, Zettie James, very special uncles, Dr. Saleef Kafajouffe, and Charles L. Morris, Jr.
Visitation will be 7-9 p.m. Tuesday in Pollock-Randall Funeral Home.
Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Wednesday, October 28, 2015 in Zion Cathedral of Praise Church. The Reverend Kim Brown will officiate.
Burial will be in Lakeside Cemetery.
Memorials may be made to the family.
