Victor W Frandsen
Victor Wayne Frandsen, 74, of Marysville, died Thursday, November 19, 2015.
He was born June 19, 1941 in Detroit to the late Victor and Dorothy Frandsen. He married Theresa Marie Watson on February 28, 1976 in St. Peter’s Lutheran Church, Richmond.
Vic was employed as Chief of Accounting with River District Hospital for many years before his retirement. He also ran his own tax and consulting business, was a part-time bartender at Dutchess Outpost, and a former Richmond police officer at various times in his life. Vic was a 50-year volunteer with the March of Dimes; longtime Port Huron Silver Stick volunteer coordinator and off ice official; member of the Marysville Rotary Club, Marysville American Legion Post #449, and Marysville Housing Commission; and an active member of Trinity Lutheran Church.
He is survived by his wife, “Marie”; seven step-children, Cindy Henschell, Laura Monzo, Joseph (Denise) Watson, James (Lorraine) Watson, Anthony “Ron” (Judy) Watson, Cathey (Tom) Moutoux, and Bobby Watson; many grandchildren and great grandchildren; five siblings; and many nieces, nephews and cousins.
He was preceded in death by a step-daughter, Brenda Hijazin; step-son-in-law, William Monzo; and three siblings.
Visitation will be from 5-9 p.m. Monday in the Marysville Funeral Home.
Memorial Services will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Tuesday, November 24, 2015 in the Marysville Funeral Home with visitation beginning at 12:00 noon. The Reverend Dr. Mark J. Madson of Trinity Lutheran Church will officiate.
Inurnment will be in the Riverlawn Cemetery Columbarium, Marysville. Military honors will be conducted under the auspices of the U.S. Air Force and the St. Clair County Allied Veterans Honor Guard.
