Obituary

Dale Kenneth Olson, 81, of Port Huron Township, died Monday, March 28, 2016.

He was born July 26, 1934 in Noonan, North Dakota to the late Elmer and Della Olson. He married Delores J. Radatz on October 28, 1955 in Port Huron.

Mr. Olson retired from American Tape. He served in the U.S. Air Force during the Korean War. He was an outdoorsman who especially enjoyed horseback riding, fishing, and camping.

He is survived by his wife of 60 years, Delores; seven daughters, Delores (Alvis) Miranda, Cynthia (Gene, Jr.) Fistler, Donna (Roy) Rogers, Paula (David) Carmichael, Candie Parrish, Susan Rusch, and Della (Jason) Sturdevant; many grandchildren, great grandchildren, and great great grandchildren; two brothers, Tom and Dennis Olson; a sister-in-law, Donna Cote; and many nieces, nephews, and cousins. He was preceded in death by a son, Daniel Olson; grandson, Donald Carmichael; son-in-law, Jack Greene; and five brothers.

Visitation will be from 2-4 & 6-8 p.m. Friday in Pollock-Randall Funeral Home.

Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. Saturday, April 2, 2016 in Pollock-Randall Funeral Home. Dr. Timothy North will officiate.

Burial will be in Woodland Cemetery, Port Huron Township. Military honors will be conducted under the auspices of the U.S. Air Force and the St. Clair County Allied Veterans Honor Guard.
