Dorothy J Dell

Dorothy Joan Dell, 87, of Port Huron, died Tuesday, April 12, 2016.

She was born January 18, 1929 in Port Huron to the late Wilford and Isabel Parker. She married Donald Arthur Dell on September 19, 1948 in Yale. He died September 19, 2015.

Mrs. Dell was a member of the Women of the Moose Chapter #99 for over 25 years. She was also a member of the Ladies Auxiliary of the V.F.W. Charles Schoor Post #796. Dorothy loved to golf and bowl, winning many tournaments and trophies over the years.

She is survived by a son, Lawrence (Vicki) Dell; a daughter, Diane (Daniel) Beedon; grandchildren, D. Scott (Karla) Beedon, Phillip (Leah) Dell, Tara (Derek) Andrews and Lisa Montross; great grandchildren, Daniel Beedon, Tyler Andrews, Zachary, Joshua and Jonathan McGuire, McKenna, Madison and Megan Beedon and Lana Andrews; brothers, George W. and Gerald (Phyllis) Parker; sister, Mary Lou Schell; and several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her great granddaughter, Morgan Dell; and a sister-in-law, Nancy Parker.

Visitation will be from 2-4 & 7-9 p.m. Friday in the Pollock-Randall Funeral Home.

Funeral services will be held at 11:00 am Saturday, April 16, 2016 in the Pollock-Randall Funeral Home with visitation beginning at 10:00 am. Reverend Max Amstutz will officiate.

Burial will follow in Woodland Cemetery, Port Huron Township. Pallbearers will be Scott Beedon, Daniel Beedon, Derek Andrews and Tyler Andrews.

Memorials may be made to the American Lung Association or Blue Water Hospice.
