Betty L Preston

Betty Lee Preston, 79, of Kimball Township, went to Gloryland to see Jesus and her beloved sons, Daniel and Carl, on Sunday, April 24, 2016.

She was born August 30, 1936 in Smith Creek to the late Clarence Lee and Gertrude Ramsey. She married Leonard Preston on December 13, 1952 in Sparlingville.

Betty worked as a paraprofessional in the Port Huron Area School District for many years and was a Sunday school teacher who worked with children of all ages.

Betty enjoyed her flowers, gardening, reading books and spending time with her family. She loved God and spending time talking about Him. One of her favorite verses was Proverbs 3:5-6.

She is survived by her beloved husband of 63 years, Leonard; her children, Gary (Carolyn) Preston, Debra (Harold) Armstead, David (Sandy) Preston, Carole (Jeff) Goodman, and Kathy (Boyd) Morrison; nine grandchildren; eight great grandchildren; siblings, Dick (Connie) Ramsey, Lucille (Roger) Adolph, Gerald (Bev) Ramsey, Don (Kathy) Ramsey, Donna (Carl) Rich, Denise (Ted) Forstner and Alice Ramsey Ureel.

Visitation will be from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Tuesday in the Pollock-Randall Funeral Home.

Funeral services will be held at 10:30 a.m. Wednesday, April 27, 2016 in the Columbus Bible Church. The Reverend Woodrow Nelson will officiate.

Burial will be in Springhill Cemetery, Fargo. Pallbearers will be Jeff Goodman, Jared Smith, David Michael Preston, Daniel Preston, Don Ramsey, Gerald Ramsey, Ted Forstner and Brian Smith.
