William N Lott
William Nathaniel “Nate” Lott, 76, of Port Huron, died Wednesday, May 25, 2016 in Marwood Nursing and Rehab after a long illness.
He was born June 20, 1939 in Port Huron to the late Leroy and Rosie K. Lott. He married Constance Cureton on December 5, 1959.
Nate worked 25 years at Littite Foundry and enjoyed playing the bongos. He was a member of New Hope Tabernacle COGIC and New Covenant Life Ministries where he served as a house leader in the Samaritan house and other men’s ministries.
He leaves to mourn his passing, his wife, Constance; three daughters, Mary (Wheatley) Whitherspoon, Lisa (Robert) Parker and Laura (Arthur) Lockett; five sisters, Reatha Boutte, Deborah (Arthur) Robinson and Lou Ester Woods-O’Neil, all of California, Rosie (Frank) Howell of Georgia and Grace (Edward) Williams of Port Huron; three sisters-in-law; seven grandchildren; 22 great grandchildren; and a host of nieces, nephews and friends. He was preceded in death by his father, Leroy; his mother, Rosie; his brothers, Obon, Sylvester and Michael; and his sister, Snowdy Bankston.
Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. on Wednesday, June 1, 2016 in New Covenant Life Ministries with visitation beginning at 10 a.m. Apostle Veter Nichols will officiate.
Burial will be in Lakeside Cemetery.
