Albert D. "Al" Smith

Albert Donald “Al” Smith, 72, of Fort Gratiot Township, died Monday, November 21, 2016.

He was born December 10, 1943 in Mt. Clemens to the late Joseph and Virginia Smith. He married Marilyn R. Cerny on November 14, 1997 in Port Huron.

Albert owned and operated Al’s Painting until his retirement. He was very active in AA and loved to fish, play pool and to collect “whatever suited his fancy”.

He is survived by his wife, Marilyn; daughters, Shana Enter and Angela (Dennis) Smith; step-children, Jason (Deana) Rose, Jeremy Rose, Tabitha (Marty) Kaboni and Jason Justice; many grandchildren and great grandchildren; brothers, James “Jimmy” and George Smith; sister, Ann Accavatti; and several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents; brothers, Robert and Steven Smith; and sister, Julie Rissi.

Memorial services will be held at 4:00 pm Saturday, November 26, 2016 in Pollock-Randall Funeral Home with visitation beginning at 2:00 pm. The Reverend Max Amstutz will officiate.

Memorials may be made to the Blue Water Area Humane Society.
