Orville M Storey

Orville Michael “Mike” Storey, 77, of Port Huron, died Thursday, April 13, 2017 at Marwood Nursing and Rehab, with his family by his side, following a stroke.

He was born March 10, 1940 in Detroit to the late Earl and Josephine Storey.

Mike graduated from Utica High School in 1960. He enjoyed cooking and worked many years as a short order cook for Elias Brothers Big Boy in Utica. Mike also enjoyed long walks and debating politics.

He is survived by his brother, Chet of Chesterfield; sisters, Laverne (Ted) Grabski of Port Huron, Almeda (George) Snediker of Greer, South Carolina and Sally Cricks of Roseville; sisters-in-law, Maree Storey of Fort Gratiot, Janis Storey of Goodells and Linda (Bob) O’Leary of Holly; and many nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his brothers, Gordon, Chuck, Les, Bill and Marvin Storey; sisters, Evelyn Orsargos and Betty Ross; brothers-in-law, George Orsargos and George Ross; sister-in-law, Carol Storey; and nephew, Ted Grabski Jr.

A Memorial Mass will be held at 11:00 am on Thursday, April 20, 2017 at Holy Trinity Parish St. Stephen Catholic Church. The Reverend Jeffrey Allan will officiate. Burial will be in Utica Cemetery.
