Brenda L Ellis

Brenda Lea Ellis, 73, of Marysville, died Tuesday, May 9, 2017.

She was born January 11, 1944 in Port Huron to the late William and Wilda Sawdon. She married James Ellis on July 14, 1962. He died December 13, 2009.

Mrs. Ellis was a medical receptionist. She enjoyed reality TV, eating chocolate, going on pontoon rides, vacationing up north with her family and spoiling her grandkids and grand dogs.

She is survived by her daughter, Ann (Brian) Kelly; two grandchildren, Jordan and Steven Kelly; two sisters, Bernice Beihn and Bonnie Williamson; four brothers, Bernard (Molly) Sawdon, Bruce (Joyce) Sawdon, Brian Sawdon and Robert Sawdon; and many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by a son, Steven Ellis, on October 14, 1984; a brother, William; and sisters, Bettie McAlpine, Barb Sprenger and Beverly Phillips.

Visitation will be 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Thursday in Pollock-Randall Funeral Home.

Funeral services will be held at 1 p.m. on Friday, May 12, 2017 in Pollock-Randall Funeral Home. Deacon Dennis Crimmins will officiate.

Burial will be in Riverlawn Cemetery, Marysville.
