Daniel T Smith

Daniel Thomas Smith, 57, of Clyde Township, died Monday, June 12, 2017.

He was born December 10, 1959 in Port Huron to Dean and Constance Smith. He married Leatha Preston on December 26, 1981 in Port Huron.

Mr. Smith served in the U.S. Marine Corps for 20 years. He loved collecting and restoring Studebakers. He enjoyed golfing, going to the movies, reading, painting and drawing. He was the life of the party.

He is survived by his wife, Leatha; a daughter, Christina (Chet) Parker; his parents, Dean and Connie Smith; two siblings, Ben (Janet) Smith and Penny Smith (Keith Miller); and two nephews, Aaron and Daniel Smith. He was preceded in death by a son, Joshua Smith in 2003.

Visitation will be 5-8 p.m. Thursday in Pollock-Randall Funeral Home.

Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. on Friday, June 16, 2017 in Pollock-Randall Funeral Home. The Rev. Mike Smith will officiate. Military honors will be conducted under the auspices of the U.S. Marine Corps.
