Jack Crake Lavis, 74, of Marysville, died Monday, November 13, 2017.

He was born September 30, 1943 in Port Huron to the late Frank “Jack” and Ruth Lavis.

Mr. Lavis was a graduate of Ferris State University and worked as a pharmacist. He owned and operated Yesterday’s Treasures at the corner of Range and Lapeer for many years. He enjoyed fishing and spending time at his cottage.

He is survived by three children, Joseph (Kelly) Lavis, Scott (Shannon) Lavis and Rebecca (Richard) Coley; seven grandchildren, Jacob, Hannah, Braeden and Brody Lavis, and Douglas, Olivia and Gerald Coley; a sister, Bonnie Jean Meismer; and a niece, Mandi (Mark) Morgan. He was preceded in death by his son, Jack C. Lavis Jr.; and a grandson, Michael Coley.

Visitation will be 4-8 p.m. Friday in the Marysville Funeral Home.

Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. on Saturday, November 18, 2017 in the Marysville Funeral Home. The Rev. Phil Whetstone will officiate.

Burial will be in Riverlawn Cemetery, Marysville.
