Bryce Carl Hanson, 66, of Port Huron, died Sunday, March 18, 2018.
He was born January 7, 1952 in Detroit to the late Calvin and Evelyn Hanson. He married Bonnie Sue Cleary on June 21, 1986 in Ruth, Michigan.
Mr. Hanson was a letter carrier with the U.S. Postal Service for 30 years prior to his retirement. He enjoyed fishing, watching sports, playing cards and horseshoes and spending time with his family.
He is survived by his wife, Bonnie; three children, Angela (Dallas) VanTiem, Melissa Hanson (special friend Izell Coomer) and Bryan (Courtney) Hanson; two grandchildren, Callen and Sincere; Izell’s children, Aiyana, Kamari, and Jayceon; siblings, Shelley (Don) LaDuke, Lyall (Melanie) Hanson, Larry (Anita) Hanson, Dwayne Hanson and Ward (Debbie) Hanson; parents-in-law, Gerald and Joann Cleary; sisters-in-law, Linda (Larry) Frassetto, Colleen Masadas, Nancy (Joe) Booms and Barb (Rich) Maurer; brothers-in-law, Bob Cleary (Deanna Sweeney) and Rick Cleary; and many nieces, nephews, and cousins. He was preceded in death by a brother, Marshall Hanson; and a brother-in-law, Bill Masadas.
Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. on Thursday, March 22, 2018 in Pollock-Randall Funeral Home with visitation beginning at 10 a.m. The Rev. Max Amstutz will officiate.
