Mary Grace Archer, 81, of Port Huron, died Thursday, May 10, 2018.
She was born October 25, 1936 in Port Huron to the late Robert and Grace Fitzgibbon. She married Walker Archer on October 19, 1957 in Port Huron.
Mrs. Archer obtained her Licensed Practical Nursing degree and worked as a secretary at Michigan Bell Telephone, Wheaton College and First Baptist Church of St. Clair, where she was a longtime active member. She loved music, sang in the choir and was one of the most talented pianists and organists in the area.
She is survived by her husband of 60 years, Walker; three children, Walker (Anne) Archer, Kim Hines and Kari (Kevin) Baker; four grandchildren, Ashley (Dave) Troy, Bryce (Carmon) Brown, Kayleigh Baker and Cassie Baker; four great grandchildren, Owen, Callum, Eli and Connor; and a brother, David Fitzgibbon. She was preceded in death by her parents, Grace (Kenneth) Reeves and Robert (Ruth) Fitzgibbon; and a sister-in-law, Marilyn Fitzgibbon.
Memorial visitation will be 6-9 p.m. Monday in Pollock-Randall Funeral Home.
A memorial service will be held at 11 a.m. on Tuesday, May 15, 2018 in Ross Bible Church with visitation beginning at 10:30 a.m. Pastor Tim Clark and Pastor Kevin Baker will officiate.
Burial will be in Lakeside Cemetery, Port Huron.
