Helen L Burkhardt

Helen Leona Burkhardt, 94, of St. Clair died Monday, May 14, 2018.

She was born September 26, 1923 in Kinde, MI to the late Felix & Florence Baranski. She married Frank Henry Burkhardt on December 1, 1944 in Ohio. He preceded her in death in 1984.

Mrs. Burkhardt worked several years at Chrysler Corp. in Marysville and later at Foster Oil in Richmond. She enjoyed baking, crocheting, and flowers, especially the amaryllis flower.

She is survived by daughter, Karen (Cary) Thacker; son, James Burkhardt; daughter, Susan Burkhardt and Jim Schneider; grandson, Bruce (Lynnett) Burkhardt; great grandchildren, Noah and Brianna Burkhardt; sister, Donna Crots; sister-in-law, Dorothy Pocket; several nieces and nephews; and good friends including Jean Hopp and the Foster’s.
