Mary M Goschnick

Mary M. Goschnick, 94, of Port Huron, died Sunday, October 14, 2018.

She was born February 20, 1924 in Port Huron to the late Allen and Leafy Rabidue. She was married to William M. Goschnick, who preceded her in death on May 19, 2017.

Mary was a graduate of Port Huron High School, St. Clair County Community College and the University of Michigan. She was a school teacher for ten years and then owned and operated Goschnick Studio with her husband, William, for the next 50 years. She was a world traveler, including three round-the-world trips, and was known to have whatever you needed in her handy travel bag. She was a longtime member of First Presbyterian Church and went on many mission trips. She was a member of the Blue Water Audubon Society, Michigan Professional Photographers, Alpha Delta Kappa, Zonta, NOMADS travel club, Child Study Club and the Port Huron Beautification Commission.

Mary is survived by her children, Louellen (Ken) Hart and Martin (Judy) Goschnick; and grandchildren, Kelly Gale, Kyle and Tyler Goschnick. She was preceded in death by her brother, Reginald Rabidue.

Memorial services will be held at 11 a.m. on Thursday, October 25, 2018 in First Presbyterian Church. The Reverend Jason Pittman will officiate.

Burial will be in Lakeside Cemetery.
