Richard A LaLone

Richard A. LaLone, 75 of Port Huron, died, Saturday, March 16, 2019 in St. Joseph Mercy Hospital, Pontiac, surrounded by his loving family.

He was born March 6, 1944 in Pontiac to the late Glenn and Ethel LaLone. He married Linda (Loxton) Knisley on December 20, 1997 in Port Huron.

Mr. LaLone served in the U.S. Army. He enjoyed going on bike rides, playing solitaire and loved spending time with his grandchildren.

He is survived by his beloved wife, Linda; five children, Douglas (Kelly) LaLone, Treasa (Craig) Nunez, Jennifer Knisley (Jason Bowman), Jimmy Bowie and Amanda (David) Chemin; ten grandchildren, Simon, Jack, Owen, Jackeé, Craig Jr., Jeanné, Juliette, Avery, Mason and Jayden; seven siblings, Marie (Earl) English, John (Sally) LaLone, Frank (Roseanne) LaLone, Dave (Vicki) LaLone, Patricia LaLone, Laura (Gerald) LaLone-Reiss and Kathy (Jim) Freebury; and many nieces and nephews.

Per Richard’s wishes, a memorial service will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Friday, April 26, 2019 in Caswell Cemetery. Military honors will be conducted by the U.S. Army and the St. Clair County Allied Veterans Honor Guard.
