Larry R Donaghy

Larry Raymond Donaghy, 76, of Port Huron Township, died Tuesday, September 3, 2019.

He was born May 3, 1943 in East China Township. Larry married Debra Foshie on July 30, 1977 in Port Huron.

Mr. Donaghy worked in the auto industry and served in the U.S. Army. He loved being outdoors and especially enjoyed bonfires, cars and motorcycles.

He is survived by his wife, Debra; four children, Bill Donaghy, Tom Donaghy, John (Tonya) Foshie and April Donaghy; seven grandchildren; several special sisters-in-law; and many nieces, nephews and cousins. He was preceded in death by his parents, Ralph and Verda Hunter; father, Earl Donaghy; sister, Wanda Brewer; two grandsons; and his beloved German shepherds.

Graveside services will be held 2:15 p.m. Friday, September 6, 2019 at Allied Veterans Cemetery Columbarium, Port Huron. Military honors will be conducted under the auspices of the U.S. Army and St. Clair County Allied Veterans Honor Guard.

Memorials may be made to the American Lung Association.
