Marilyn K Wright

Marilyn Kay Wright, 76, of Fort Gratiot, died Thursday, October 31, 2019.

She was born October 27, 1943 in St. Clair Shores to the late Paul and Helen Ritzert. She married Jack Wright on October 24, 1964 in Port Huron. He died March 30, 2017.

Marilyn was a graduate of Port Huron High School and a member of Our Saviour Lutheran Church. She enjoyed the outdoors and was a talented gardener. Marilyn was also an animal lover, especially fond of cats, and volunteered with the Blue Water Area Humane Society.

She is survived by four children, Jack (Jacki) Wright Jr., Christopher (Lori) Wright, Heather (Mike) Birkholz and Rebecca (Jim) Joseph; three grandchildren, Jessica Wright (Andrew Casburn), Autumn and Laura Wright; two sisters-in-law, Joyce Wright and Donna Ritzert; many nieces, nephews and cousins; and many friends, including longtime special friend, Jean Quinn. She was preceded in death by two brothers, Paul Ritzert and Jerry (Betty) Ritzert.

Private family services have been held.
