Lawrence F Whipple, Jr.

Lawrence F. Whipple Jr., 73, of Columbus Township, died Monday, March 30, 2020 at home surrounded by his family.

He was born October 30, 1946 in Mt. Clemens to Dorothy and the late Lawrence Whipple Sr.

Lawrence was a truck driver and also hauled horses for friends. He enjoyed horseback riding, barbecuing, and sitting by the bonfire with family. He served in the U.S. Navy.

He is survived by his daughter, Khrystyn Whipple; mother, Dorothy Whipple; granddaughter, Andrea McClelland; family friend, Sue Forton; his dog, Sadie; two horses Chico and Ghost; and many grand dogs. He was preceded in death by a son, Lawrence Whipple III.

Private services for the family will be held at Kittridge Cemetery, Columbus Township. Arrangements are by Pollock-Randall Funeral Home.
