Frances M Cusworth

Frances May “Fran” Cusworth, 84, of Kenockee Township, died Thursday, December 31, 2020.

She was born February 26, 1936 in Detroit to the late Bernard and Grace DeSantis. She married Ronald Cusworth on May 22, 1954 in Detroit.

Fran was a wonderful homemaker and an exceptional cook. In her younger years, she loved her job at Sanders in Detroit. She was the family matriarch who kept her family together and nothing gave her more joy than taking care of all of them.

She is survived by her husband of 66 years, Ronald; four children, Ronald Cusworth, Robert Cusworth, Catherine Cusworth and Lynn (Jerry) Qualls; four grandchildren, Carissa (James) Olejnik, Jesse Burks, John (Jenny) Qualls and Melissa Qualls (Jeff Lelito); five great grandchildren, Jessa and Grace, John Jr. and Jenna, and Hazel; and two brothers, Carl DeSantis and Dennis DeSantis.

Private family services will be held at a later date.
