Obituary

Luetta R. Walker, 82, of Port Huron, went home to be with the Lord on Saturday, January 9, 2021.

She was born August 13, 1938 in Linden, Alabama to the late Neal and Rosetta Rogers.

Mrs. Walker was a member of Mt. Olive Baptist Church. She was a supervisor at Goodwill Industries for many years. She enjoyed gardening, spending time with her family and listening to the blues.

She leaves to mourn her passing her children, Patricia Rogers, Sam Walker III, Coleman, Leon, Don, Joyce, Kim, Eric and JaMaine Walker; nine grandchildren; brothers, Douglas (Elizabeth) and Levi (Linda) Rogers; and many nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends. She was preceded in death by a son, Stanley Walker; longtime companion, David Parker; three sisters, Rosie West, Pearlie White and Earline Smith; and brother, Charlie Rogers.

Visitation will be from 5-8 p.m. on Thursday, January 14, 2021 in Pollock-Randall Funeral Home.

Funeral services will be held on at noon on Friday, January 15, 2021 in All Nations Church of God in Christ. Superintendent Vincent E. Matthews, Sr. will officiate.

Burial will be in Lakeside Cemetery. Pallbearers will be her sons and nephews, Sam Walker III, Don Walker, Eric Walker, JaMaine Walker, Clyde White and Alfred White. Flower bearers will be her nieces, Taleeia Mitchell, Allison Brown, LaShonda Bridges, Latesha Kelley, Brenda Hill and Carolyn Jackson.
