Linda Ann Sawdon, 73, of Port Huron died Sunday, March 14, 2021.
She was born September 28, 1947 in Port Huron to the late Sam and Dorothy Buckingham. She married Daniel Sawdon on June 20, 1980 in Westhaven Baptist Church, Port Huron.
Linda was a graduate of Port Huron High School She worked for St. Clair Metals, Tomlin’s Drugstore and most recently, Walgreens Pharmacy for many years before her retirement. She was an avid hockey fan who held season tickets for all the Port Huron teams. She loved bowling, going to the casino and watching baseball. She was a long-time member of Port Huron Church of Christ.
She is survived by her husband of 40 years, Dan; her son, Charles (Stephanie) Ouellette; grandchildren, Kourtney (Keith) Koch, Jenna Bade and Cameron Tesluck; great grandchild, Koah Koch; brothers, Daniel (Lisa), Thomas (Leslie) and Jack (Pam) Buckingham; and sister, Jayne (Jay) Snivley. She was preceded in death by her “other son”, Scottie Nichols.
Visitation will be from 2-4 and 6-9 p.m. Tuesday in Pollock-Randall Funeral Home. A limited number of people will be allowed in at a time. Please wear a mask for the comfort and safety of others.
A private family service will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Wednesday, March 17, 2021 in Pollock-Randall Funeral Home. Friends may view the livestream by going to Linda’s obituary page on the funeral home website. Lamar Black will officiate.
Inurnment will be in the Woodland Cemetery Columbarium, Port Huron Township.
