Peter W Vetter

Peter William Vetter, 49, went home to be with the Lord on Wednesday, April 14, 2021.

He was born October 2, 1971 in St. Clair to Stephan and Sandra (Wood) Vetter.

Peter was a graduate of St. Clair High School, class of 1990, St. Clair County Community College, ITT Technical Institue of Troy, Michigan and Christ for the Nations, class of 1994, Dallas, Texas. His dream was to be a missionary to the Native Americans in Montana.

He was owner and operator of The Computer Doctor, in St. Clair and private contractor for Smart Source Corporation.

He is survived by his parents, Stephan and Sandra; siblings, Stephen M. (Dionne), Illinois and Cynthia A. Vetter, St. Clair; aunts, Sandra Parker, Washington and Diana Wood, Florida; uncles, Glen Wood, Port Huron and Fred Durfee, Washington; nephews, Christopher, St. Clair, Nathan (Sandra), Nicholas (Aurora), New York, Stephen D., Anthony, Curtis and Caleb, Illinois, and John (Julie), Glen P. and Corey Wood, Port Huron; nieces, Rachelle and Lauren Vetter, Illinois and Jennifer Hussain, Eileen Durfee, Marcia Treager of Washington and Carrie Wood and Lindsay Osgood of Port Huron; and many cousins. He was preceded in death by his grandparents, William and Eleanor Vetter and Peter and Mary Wood; uncles, Henry Wood and John Parker; and aunts, Cathy Wood and Linda Durfee.

Cremation has taken place and a memorial service will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Sunday, August 15, 2021 at his parents’ home. Rabbi Loren Jacobs of Congregation Shema Israel in Bloomfield and Pastor Joe Sazyc of Port Huron Assembly of God will officiate.
