Edith Helen Studaker

Edith Helen “Edie” Studaker, 81, of Port Huron, died Monday, October 31, 2011.

She was born November 19, 1929 in Port Huron to the late John and Lydia Weiss. She married Everett Studaker on August 19, 1950 in Croswell.

Mrs. Studaker was a bookkeeper with Michigan National Bank. She was a member of Faith Lutheran Church.

She is survived by her husband of 61 years, Everett; two sons, James (June) Studaker and Randy Studaker; grandchildren, Travis (Debbie) Studaker, Kelli Studaker, Jared Studaker and Abigail Studaker; a sister, Betty Roos, three brothers, Tim (Marilyn) Weiss, Ed (Helen) Weiss and Rev. Alex Weiss; and many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by three sisters, Dorothy, Mary and Ruth; and five brothers, John, Dave, Fred, Carl and Bill.

Funeral services will be held at 1 p.m. on Saturday, November 5, 2011 in Faith Lutheran Church with visitation beginning at noon. The Rev. C.J. Ransdell and the Rev. Timothy Eichberger will officiate.

Burial will be in Washington Township Cemetery.
