Leona W Curtis

Leona Waneta Curtis, 88, of Kimball Township, died Saturday, May 15, 2021.

She was born April 7, 1933 in Port Huron to the late Clinton and Violet Gardner. She married Donald K. Curtis on February 14, 1953 in Port Huron. He preceded her in death on March 11, 2006 after 53 years of marriage.

Leona enjoyed going to the casino, reading and being with the grandchildren.

She is survived by a son, Rick (Carol) Curtis; grandchildren, Brian (Nicole) and Danielle Curtis; seven great grandchildren; sister, Lila-Marie Reid; and several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by a son, John Curtis; daughter, Brenda Nemick; and sisters, Lulabelle Cove and Ila-Mae Evans.

Graveside services will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Thursday, May 20, 2021 in Riverlawn Cemetery.
