Joyce L Jones

Joyce Lois Jones, 89, of Marysville, formerly of Allen Park, died Saturday, May 29, 2021.

She was born October 27, 1931 in Detroit to the late George and Mildred Jones.

Joyce worked as a supervisor at Detroit Edison for 40 years before her retirement in May, 1988. She attended St. Christopher Catholic Church. She enjoyed reading.

She is survived by a niece, Suzanne Jones; cousin, Bonnie (Jerry) Wheeler; dear friends, Mary Ann and Fran; and caretakers, Tracy, Gabby, Eva, Lexie and Leslie. She was preceded in death by her brother, Donald Jones; and a dear friend, Geneva Van Antwerp.

A Funeral Mass will be held at 10:30 a.m. on Thursday, June 3, 2021 in St. Christopher Catholic Church with visitation beginning at 10:00 a.m. The Reverend Arthur Baranowski will officiate.

Inurnment will be in the Riverlawn Cemetery Columbarium, Marysville.

Memorial contributions may be made to HAVEN or the Penrickton Center for Blind Children.
