Lois Keller

Lois (Dewees) Keller, 94, of Burtchville, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, August 18, 2021.

She was born August 17, 1927 in Chicago, Illinois to the late Cecil and Hazel (Lathan) Dewees. She married James Keller in 1949. He preceded her in death in March 18, 1986.

Lois was a member of Grace Episcopal Church. She lived life to the fullest. She loved playing cards every week with all her friends, going out for dinner and family get-togethers. Lois loved showing dogs and horses and enjoyed her farm life.

She is survived by two children, Karen (Kirk) Churchill and Mark Keller; five grandchildren, Dan (Amber) Gerstenberger, Ben (Hattie) Gerstenberger, Khris Keller, Mark Keller Jr. (Nicole Struther) and Karissa (Chris) Shiroda; five great grandchildren; and her very special friend, Pat Easton.

Cremation has taken place and per Lois’ wishes, no services will be held.

Memorial contributions may be made to St. Clair County 4-H or Grace Episcopal Church.
