Robert A Ross

Robert Allen Ross, 82, of Fort Gratiot, died Friday, September 3, 2021.

He was born February 4, 1939 in Port Huron to the late Archie and Evelyn Ross. He married Donna Gildenpfenning on January 7, 1966 in Port Huron.

Robert served in the United States Army. He was employed at Independent Floor Covering for many years. His prize possession was his 1949 Studebaker Truck. He enjoyed racing and doing puzzles.

He is survived by his wife of 55 years, Donna; seven children, Lewis (Judith) Ross, Rob Ross, Sheri (Steve) Hale, Kathleen (Dave) Gilliam, Marti (Brian) Harper, Barb (Jeff) Witt and Michelle Platz; many grandchildren and great grandchildren; brother, Thomas (Ellen) Ross; and sister, Elizabeth Hadlock. He was preceded in death by three children, Robert Ross, Cynthia Ross and Terri Rising; and a brother, Gordon Ross.

A memorial service was held at 3:00 p.m. on Sunday, September 26, 2021 at the American Legion J. Edward Mallorey Post #449, 299 Huron Ave., Marysville, MI 48040.
