William D "Fuzzy"Burtch

William David “Fuzzy” Burtch, 70, of Port Huron, died Monday, September 27, 2021.

He was born August 20, 1951 in Detroit to the late Edward and Ruth Burtch. He married Cindy Parr.

Fuzzy served in the United States Navy. He was employed in maintenance for the American Legion and on the local pilot boat. He was a proud long-time member of American Legion Charles Hammond Post # 8, V.F.W. Charles Schoor Post # 796 and Blue Water Aerie #3702 Fraternal Order of Eagles.

He is survived by two brothers, Daniel (Bessie) and Edward Burtch; sister, Ruth (Bob) Ainsworth; special adopted daughter, Katrina Parker; and many nieces, nephews and friends. He was preceded in death by his wife, Cindy; parents, Edward and Ruth; grandmother, Lucy McKee; and brothers, Matthew and Jim Burtch.

A memorial gathering will be held beginning at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, November 20, 2021 in American Legion Charles Hammond Post # 8. Military honors will be conducted under the auspices of the United States Navy and the St. Clair County Allied Veterans Honor Guard.
