Barbara Ann Haskins, 75, of Port Huron, departed this life on Wednesday, October 6, 2021, on her daughter’s birthday.
She was born May 15, 1946 in Sarnia, Ontario to Luther and Anna Mae Haskins.
Barbara attended Port Huron Area Schools and was employed at IAC, formally Lear and United Tech, until her retirement. She was a loving and caring person who would always keep you laughing with all her various sayings. She enjoyed playing cards and going to bingo until she became ill. She was an excellent cook and known for her macaroni and cheese and sweet potato pies.
She is survived by her grandchildren, Angela (Desmond) Johnson, Angela Williams, Sharmae Haskins and their mother, Lynette Williams-Carter and Alexis Haskins; great granddaughter, Island Long; great grandson, Desmond Johnson Jr.; a sister, Mary Haskins; brother, Robert (Karen) Haskins; nieces, Symetra, Tamika, Tyanna, Imari, Destiny and Dynasty Haskins; nephews, Anthony (Laquetta) Haskins and Shaun (Ashley) Haskins; a godson, Damien Farrior; and a host of friends who loved her dearly. She was preceded in death by her parents; a daughter, Stephanie Haskins; a son, Darryl Haskins; a grandson, Lawrence Haskins; a sister, Sarah Jackson; and a brother, Luther Haskins.
Private family services will be held on Wednesday, October 13, 2021 in Pollock-Randall Funeral. Dr. Carl E. Miller, Sr. will officiate.
Inurnment will be in Lakeside Cemetery, Port Huron.
