Ronald Lennard Rostoni, 78, of Fort Gratiot, died Friday, October 29, 2021.
He was born March 6, 1943 in Detroit to the late Lennard and Trudi Rostoni. He married Karen Parks on November 20, 1965 in Detroit.
Ronald served in the United States Marine Corps. He retired from DTE after 38 years of employment. He was a firefighter and rescue volunteer for the Burtchville Fire Department. He enjoyed boats, dogs, being outdoors, gardening and visiting Frankenmuth as often as possible. Most of all, he loved his family.
He is survived by his wife of 56 years, Karen; son, Craig (Michelle) Rostoni; daughter, Kim (Scott) Filkins; grandchildren, Ryan (Jennifer) Rostoni, Samantha (Austin) Brown, Alexandra Rostoni, Maria Rostoni, April (Shannon) Northrop and Charles Neubert; great grandchildren, Brennan Northrop, Lucas Brown, Caramia Rostoni and Luka Northrop; brother, Ken Rostoni; nieces and nephews, Rob (Johanna) Rostoni, Jeff (Nancy) Rostoni and Jennifer, (Brett) Armstrong; and great nieces and nephews, Nathan, Spencer, Josh, Chelsea and Connor Rostoni and Taylor and Alyssa Armstrong. He was preceded in death by his parents, Lennard and Trudi Rostoni; and Aunt Lou Rostoni.
Graveside services will be held at 11 a.m. on Saturday, November, 20, 2021 at the Allied Veteran’s Cemetery Columbarium. The Reverend Drew Mills will officiate. Military honors will be conducted under the auspices of the United States Marine Corps and the St. Clair Allied Veterans Honor Guard.
