Carl James Duckworth, 51, of Fort Gratiot, died Wednesday, December 8, 2021.
He was born February 2, 1970 in Port Huron to Ruth and David Duckworth Sr. He married Stacy Ann Van Camp on March 13, 2004.
Carl was a 1989 graduate of Port Huron High School. He was a firefighter with Port Huron Township for 18 years, with Kenockee Township for five years and also was an over-the-road truck driver. Family was most important to Carl and he loved spending time with them.
He is survived by his wife, Stacy; six children, Courtney Meldrum, Shayna and Austin Salisbury, and Aubreanna, Brayden and Kendalyn Duckworth; five grandchildren, Baylee, Leighton, Colby, Ellie and Avah; his parents, Ruth and David Duckworth Sr.; five siblings, Sharon Soyko, David Duckworth Jr. (Jennifer Harris), Scott Duckworth, Mary (Walton) Mosher and Mark Duckworth; and many nieces, nephews and cousins.
Visitation will be from 1-4 & 6-9 p.m. Monday in Pollock-Randall Funeral Home. A Firefighter Pass and Review will be held at 6:00 p.m.
Funeral services will be at 11:00 a.m. on Tuesday, December 14, 2021 in Pollock-Randall Funeral Home. A service livestream will be available on Carl’s obituary page of the funeral home website. Dr. Joseph Baunoch will officiate.
Burial will be in Caswell Cemetery, Kimball Township.
