Repts Donald Watkins, 55, of Port Huron Township, died Wednesday, December 15, 2021.
He was born August 20, 1966 in Detroit to Mousie “Ruth” Watkins and the late Marvin Watkins.
Repts graduated from Utica High School in 1984. He developed a love for hard work before graduating, so he quickly joined the work force and became a very talented mechanic. He worked at multiple family businesses while building his expertise, but most recently Church Street Automotive and Watkins Car Care. Family was the most important thing to Repts. It was his priority and the reason for his hard work. He treated everyone with respect and integrity because he felt they deserved it. Repts believed in others and trusted them, so he always tried looking out for them.
He is survived by his mother, Mousie “Ruth” Watkins; brother, Rodney Watkins (Mattie Merithew); his children, Repts C. Watkins, Garrett Watkins and Isabella Watkins; and his extended children, Tyler Ashley, Kate Hall and Nicole Hall. He was preceded in death by his late wife, Katie Ashley Watkins.
Funeral services will be held at 4:00pm on Tuesday, December 28, 2021 in the Marysville Funeral Home with visitation beginning at 2:00pm. Celebrant Laurie Wilson will officiate.
