Faye E Thornhill

Faye Elizabeth Thornhill, 65, of Wales Township, died Saturday, December 25, 2021.

She was born July 12, 1956 in Royal Oak to Amelia and the late Burton Boynton. She married James Thornhill on November 28, 1981 in Detroit.

Faye received a Bachelor’s Degree from Central Michigan University. She taught school for many years and also was employed in the office at Goodwill Industries. She was a member of Pilgrim Lutheran Church. She enjoyed going to craft and art shows and spending time with her grandchildren.

She is survived by her husband of 40 years, James; three daughters, Amelia Thornhill (Robert Walborn), Hannah Thornhill and Rebecca (Steven) Sute; mother, Amelia Boynton; two grandchildren, Eli and Eve Walborn; six siblings, Dennis Boynton, Carl Boynton, Edward Boynton, Gail Doyle, Howard (Gwen) Boynton and Ian (Margaret) Boynton; many nieces and nephews; and in-laws, brothers-in-law, William (Roberta) Thornhill, Paul (Lenore) Thornhill and Michael (Susan) Thornhill; and sister-in-law, Shelia Blazofsky. She was preceded in death by two sisters-in-law, Barbara and Beth Boynton; and a brother-in-law, Michael Doyle.

Visitation will be from 2-5 p.m. on Sunday, January 2, 2022 in the Marysville Funeral Home.

Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Monday, January 3, 2022 in Pilgrim Lutheran Church. The Reverend Michael Opfermann will officiate.

Burial will be in Glen Eden Cemetery, Livonia.
